As a starting point for our Christmas art project (creating religious icons), year 5 took a road trip out to St Cuthbert's Church for some serious sketching opportunities.
Accompanied by proffessional artist Mr Kovalski (Husband of the wonderful Mrs Kovalska) and armed with a variety of different art pencils and clip boards, we got to work on recreating some of the beautiful artwork inside the church.
